THE 2026 SEPTEMBER TOURING CHALLENGE IS COMPLETE!

What a month of riding for 3RVS!

36 riders took on this year’s challenge, and together we logged an incredible 19,215 MILES during September!

And check out these milestones:

22 riders reached 500 km
15 riders reached 750 km
12 riders reached 1,000 km

7 riders rode more than 1,610 km — 1,000 MILES — in a single month!

And now for our 2026 overall podium:

1st — Paul Onley: 2,001.61 miles
2nd — Tom Lill: 1,602.15 miles
3rd — Verne LaRue: 1,219.69 miles

[This second party historical site is unsure if women still had their own division in 2026, if so the top three women finishers are:

First Place, Wanda Reed, 1,638.0 kilometers
Second Place, Brenda Wiley, 1,617.6 kilometers
Third Place, Grace Huisman, 1,231.1 kilometers]

Paul didn’t just break 2,000 miles — he averaged more than 66 miles per day for all 30 days of September!

But this challenge has always been about more than the leaderboard. Riders set personal goals, chased distance milestones, found reasons to get out on the bike, and added mile after mile to an incredible month for our cycling community.

Whether you rode 2,000 miles, 1,000 miles, 500 km, 100 miles, or simply rode more than you would have otherwise, thank you for being part of the 2026 3RVS September Touring Challenge.

36 riders. 30 days. 19,215 miles.

Congratulations to everyone who took on the challenge — and especially to our 2026 podium finishers!
